Product history and connotation/territory 
The apricot, which arrived in the Mediterranean by the Arabs in the 1st century AD, originates from China and Central Asia, where it was cultivated as early as 3000 BC.

In addition to fruit, seeds are also used in confectionery, called armelline (or bitter almonds), as an ingredient in syrups, liqueurs and amaretti, in combination with sweet almonds.

The fruit is also consumed in spirit, as dried fruit and as jam to prepare excellent tarts.

Tasting instructions
To be used for breakfast, in combination with cheeses and for filling cakes.

Ingedients
60% apricots, sugar, lemon juice, gelling agent: pectin.
May contain traces of milk, celery and nuts (pistachio, almonds, walnuts).
